Triangles represent the locations of the "nearby" shipboard CTDs(conducted within 10 days of float measurements), and squares and stars show DM and RT data of "nearby" float measurements (from GDAC). Colors mean the distance of the nearby measurements from the float observations. Red: within 50 km, yellow: within the ellipse of meridionally 125km and zonally 250km radii, and blue: within the ellipse of meridionally 250km and zonally 500km radii.
