Science seminar #1 began with Greg Moore's (Specialty Coordinator, JAMSTEC) overview on Geology in Nankai Trough from seismic data, and then logging software introduction and practical session of interested scientists. Lab technicians continued working in the lab area for maintenance, instrument setup and rearrangements. Test and training of core flow will be conducted 25 September.
