Science Operations on Deck: Set up and repaired several instrument on the drill floor while pulling out of the hole. After slip and cut drill line, made up core barrel BHA (Bottom Hole Assembly). Running into the hole with coring assembly.
Science Operations in Labs: Pilot drilling summary plots and data distribution was made public to science party on pilot hole logging data. Continued Science Seminar 5 covering accretionary prism tectonic compaction and dewatering, and Iberia rifted continental margin studies. Special seminar on LWD tools and their measurements was held by LWD engineers with attendance of operational personnel. First draft of reports was submitted by each group for review and edit.
Lab technicians continued working in the lab area for maintenance, instrument setup.
