Science Operations on Deck: While running into with LWD assembly several instrument needed to fix. Spud the hole C0001C at 19:15. Hole inclination of 6 deg forced to pull out and moved to new location nearby.

Science Operations in Labs:Continued Science Seminar 8 covering Image Analysis and Signal Processing and Active Continental Rifting in Greek studies. Monitored real-time data from the C0001C LWD.
Lab technicians set up instruments in the core processing and lab street decks and continued making consumables inventory. IT continued support for science party and for the LWD unit for urgent request.
