Science Operations on Deck: Spud at 00:45 of October 14 at 1936m water depth. Jet-in to the 70.5 m below seafloor and began drilling to the 478.5 meter below seafloor. Hole deviation surveys ranged between 0.75 to 1.09 degree. LWD tools looks working well and seismic data tool results shows better than previous site.

Science Operations in Labs: Continued LWD data analysis and report writing of the Site C0001 data. Lab technicians continued setting up instruments in the core processing and lab street decks.
