Science Operations on Deck: After arriving NT2-01 location, 4 beacons were deployed at 03:30 of October 19. Then ship sailed to 12 nm upstream at 14:00 on 19 October while making drilling assembly. After LWD shallow test, ship drifted back to the site at 21:15 with 2 knots while running the LWD Assembly.

Science Operations in Labs: Reviewing Site C0001 reports carrying on while sonic data from C0002 began processing. Lab technicians continued setting up instruments, Interstitial Water analyses' experiment, core rack handling, and X-ray CT operating training.
