Science Operations on Deck: After reaching about 530 meter below seafloor, drill string was packed off and lost connection. Currently pulling out the remaining drill pipe and LWD tool from the hole.

Science Operations in Labs: Data analysis and interpretation was carried out in the science party for the Site C0002A. Data processing engineer finalized the sonic data processing and density data as well. Lab technicians continued setting up instruments, thermal conductivity, cryogenic magnetometer, titrator and ICP-AES.
