Science Operations on Deck: Continued attempting to recover the lower part of drill pipes and LWD assembly in the hole at Site C0003A (NT2-01). Running into with overshot assembly in the borehole. The Chikyu sailed out of the Kuroshiro current 11 nm NNW to load and to avoid Typhoon No. 20 (FAXAI).

Science Operations in Labs: Science party meeting was held and discussed for drilling plan in the remaining 3 weeks. Lab technicians continued setting up instruments, SQUID, MSCL-S, titrator and carbonate analyzer. Meeting on the improvement of science services onboard was held between Expedition Planning Manager, Lab Officer and CDEX Science Support staffs.
