Science Operations on Deck: Loading supplies and maintenance of drill equipments while waiting for weather by Typhoon No. 20 (FAXAI). Sailed back to the NT2-01 location at 16:00 on 27 October and made up overshot assembly. Then ship moved 6 nm upstream at 18:15 for running string and ROV dive while drifting. Back in the position, re-enter the Hole C0003A. Continued attempting to recover the lower part of drill pipes and LWD assembly in the hole.

Science Operations in Labs: Final site summary meeting for C0003 was held and discussed on the final results from each groups. Submission of reports due on 28 October. Lab technicians continued setting up instruments, titrator and carbonate analyzer. Monthly Lab Safety Patrol was made with Operation Superintendent, lab inventory system was discussed and ship inventory system was observed.
