Science Operations on Deck: Spudded the Hole C0004A at 04:45 on 1 November, jetted-down to the 70 m and continued drilling. Reached Target Depth 400 meters below seafloor without any problem. Pulled out of the hole and making up LWD assembly.

Science Operations in Labs: Continued review on Site C0002 reports. Site summary meeting for C0003 was made and discussed the results from each group. Lab technicians continued setting up instruments, and confirmed communication between bridge and core container regarding gas sensor functionality.
