Science Operations on Deck: Continued pilot drilling to 599.5 meters below the seafloor (mbsf) and made short trip between 599.5 mbsf and 454.5 mbsf. Then drilling continued and tightened up lube-oil gear shaken loose due to heavy vibration. Reached Target Depth (885.5 mbsf) at 20:45 on 11 November. After sweeping Hi-vis Gel and spotting kill mud, pulling out of the hole from 20:45. Drill floor equipments were checked and tighten up due to the heavy vibration between 01:00 and 03:45 on 12 November.
Science Operations in Labs: Meeting was held to discuss end of cruise logistics and post-cruise research plan. Expedition 315 advanced scientists group embarked Chikyu and started working in the lab area. Lab technicians continued setting up instruments and cross-over of lab officers.
