Toward an Understanding of Earth System Evolution:
Japan National Science Plan for the Integrated
Ocean Drilling Program - January 2003 - |
 |
| Japan is expected to play the central part in this project.
Therefore IODP has to make very concrete research theme suitable for Japanese leadership by reviewing
the international trend of forming scientific programs in the past. IODP must draw a blueprint for the
future where Japanese scientists can participate and take initiative. This plan was formulated by OD21SAC,
considering the concept of Japanese community of scientists presented in the domestic symposiums, various
kinds of related committees. (continued on pdf file) |
