The brand-new exhibition theater at National Science Museum

The movie of the Mantle convection and Global tectonics -Wonders of the interior of the Earth- is released on December 21st 2006 at the brand-new exhibition theater "360 (SanRokuMaru)" at National Science Museum in Tokyo. The 360degree-vision is the world's first perfectly spherical image system which was exhibited at EXPO 2005 AICHI JAPAN.
The continents drift, the ocean floor spread from mid-ocean-ridge and subduct into the interior of the Earth. The key of
these earth movements is the mantle convection circulates slowly over hundreds of millions of years, and the Deep-sea Drilling Vessel Chikyu is the state-of-the-art exploration platform to unlock the mysteries of Earth.
