Length 105m, Beam 16m, Depth 7.3m, Gross Tonnage 4,439tons YOKOSUKA's missions are to support Manned Research Submersible "SHINKAI 6500" and clarify the ocean floor's geography and composition by use of the Multi-narrow beam echo sounder. There are General Control Room, Laboratories (No.1~No.3) and study rooms, to analyze/store data and samples obtained from "SHINKAI 6500" and "YOKOSUKA" itself.
