Research on Collision between MSDF DDG ATAGO and a fish boat SEITOKU MARU
-The Research Vessel NATSUSHIMA’s search operation has been resumed-
The Research Vessel NATSUSHIMA, operated by the Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC; Mr. Yasuhiro Kato, President), has resumed the search operation at 7:08 on March 2, 2008, which had been halted due to the rough state of the area.
Retrieval operation of the objects will be conducted as far as possible commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) at the request of the Ministry of Defense.
