|Available Position & Research Topics||Available Position: RIGC recruit total of 1 position as a Scientist.
Applicants are invited for a Scientist position to engage in research and development of Tropical Climate Variability Research Program, RIGC.
|Job Description||Tropical Climate Variability Research Program promotes atmospheric, oceanic, and air-sea interaction studies, including the study on the initiation and developing processes of the Madden-Julian Oscillation by conducting in situ observations, CINDY2011, to advance our knowledge on atmospheric and oceanic variations such as MJO, Monsoon, ENSO and IOD in the tropical Oceans. We also collaborate with numerical model research programs to enhance our scientific understanding. Thus, we broadly invite a scientist who can study the atmosphere, ocean, and their interaction in the tropical regions using in situ observations as well as satellite data and numerical products. In addition, it is requested to join the field observations on a ship and/or land area. Since the international collaboration is inevitable in conducting the observation, a scientist who can contribute the project with international point of view is desirable.
