Facility Tours – Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences

At the Earth Science Museum in the Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences, data and images obtained through JAMSTEC's research and observation are presented to the general public. It takes about an hour to look around the museum. For those in a small group, please feel free to visit the museum whenever it is open. Please note that some areas will be inaccessible during a group facility tour. For a group of more than 10 people, please contact us prior to your visit.
In a group facility tour, you will possibly have an opportunity to view the supercomputer system, Earth Simulator, from a window. Please note that the Earth Simulator building will be inaccessible due to maintenance or some other reason, and that the space from which to view computers is limited.
