JAMSTEC Headquarters is located at 2-15 Natsushima-cho, Yokosuka, Kanagawa, 237-0061, Japan.
We offer Guided tours to pre-booked groups with minimum of 10 people.
Our English speaking guide will escort you around the facilities with an informative commentary tailored to the interests of your group.

The tours are available on Monday through Friday from 9:30-12:00, 13:30-17:00.
Duration: 1.5 hours.
Fee: Free

Tour Guidelines:

• Tours are booked on a first come, first served basis.
• Tour request form is required at least 2 weeks prior to your visit.
• This is a walking tour on Maintenance Yard and Experiment Facility, etc. so please wear comfortable shoes with no high-heel.
• Tour details may be altered depending on the operation situation of vessels or experiments being carried out with research facilities. Please be aware that if there are sudden changes in survey dates, it may not be possible to visit the vessels or research submersibles, etc.

JAMSTEC souvenirs are available at the kiosk by the main entrance.
