The Program for the Strategic Industrial Use of the Earth Simulator, adopted as part of The Program for Creating Innovation by Sharing Advanced Research Facilities which is an MEXT-sponsored project, has been in operation since 2007. This program seeks to promote the share use of the Earth Simulator (ES) supercomputer across various industries.
