| Frontier Research System for Global Change (FRSGC), and Frontier Observation
Research System for Global Change (FORSGC) has established the Joint Research
Satellite Facility of IGCR in the campus of National Institute for Earth Science
and Disaster Prevention (NIED) as a research center to carry out the joint research
with other institutions. We should like to inform you that with the moving of
IGCR to the Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences, realization of temporary transfer
of the researchers for the joint researches, and completion of Earth Simulator,
we have closed the above Facility on 30 June 2002. We will continue the joint
research conduced with NIED. We will continue our activities at three centers; Institute for Global Change Research at Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences, International Pacific Research Center in Hawaii, International Arctic Research Center in Alaska. We should like to thank you for your kindest co-operation during the operation of our joint satellite facilities. |
