IV. Relationship with Other Research Programs (General) FRCGC will conduct its research in cooperation with the relevant foreign and domestic institutes for research and development, and also with international research programs. Special emphasis will be placed upon CLIVAR and GEWEX/GHP/GAME under World Climate Research Program (WCRP), an international research program, and other programs under International Geosphere-Biosphere Program (IGBP) . The two international research centers, IARC and IPRC, will establish cooperative relationships with U.S. programs of global change prediction, hoping that U.S. and Japan will take initiatives towards realization of global change prediction.
