The 2nd Workshop on Regional Climate Modeling (RCM)
for Monsoon System

The 2nd Workshop on Regional Climate Modeling for Monsoon System sponsored by the Frontier Research System for Global Change (FRSGC), and co-sponsored by GAME International Science Panel (GISP), will be held 4-6 March 2003 at Miyoshi memorial auditorium in FRSGC Yokohama, Japan.

Thank you very much for your participation.

Summary of the workshop and future plan

### Registration is closed!! Thank you. ###

The Workshop will be devoted to improve prediction accuracy of precipitation and circulation systems of regional-scale climate system such as Monsoon. Major areas of emphasis will include:

1) Problems in Regional Climate Modeling,
2) Application to Monsoon system,
3) Short term simulation of regional atmospheric process related to monsoon,
4) Possibility of cloud resolved climate model, and
5) Verification and intercomparison of RCMs and Hydrological Models.
We also welcome the studies of regional climate using GCMs.
