Frontier Research System for Global Change (FRSGC) and Frontier Observational
Research System for Global Change (FORSGC) will jointly hold an Annual
Symposium 2004. Based upon the results of the questionnaires of our
past annual symposiums, the symposium this year has divided into two
to make each of them more substantial and productive; one for public
(ended 14 January 2004) and the other for researchers. Following information
is about the latter one.
- Aims
The purpose of this symposium is to promote the further cross-cutting
understandings on research accomplishments among researchers of
FRSGC/FORSGC by providing a place to exchange information, and
to discuss the direction of our future research plans after the
coming JAMSTEC's transformation to an independent administrative
institute from 1 April of 2004. To meet the aims, this symposium
will target especially the FRSGC/FORSGC researchers.
