Title

Community and meta-population analysis of macrobentic animals in intertidall fllats of Sendai Bay

Project and Theme

Project 1. Study on ecological succession of fisheries ground
Representative Organization: Tohoku University
Theme3. Research on the coastal fisheries resources and the tidal flat faunas off Miyagi Prefecture

DepartmentGraduate School of Agricultural Science

Research Information

Period and Interval
2014/04/01 - 2015/03/31
one to two times per year for each of total ca 10 intertial flats
Research Area
Sendai Bay / Matsushima Bay
Category
Field survey
Overview
Species diversity monitoring by census methods will be done for analyzing anual changes of fauna after the 2011 tsunami. Samplings for genetic analyses will be made for some of major macrobenthic animals/poplations.

Investigation Item and Data Acquisition

Investigation ItemData Acquisition
