Overview
In order to reveal mixing processes in river plumes in Otsuchi Bay, we will observe river flows, tidal flows, temperature and salinity in the Unosumai River and Otsuchi River. We will deploy mooring systems in rivers to observe temperature, salinity, flows. In addition to the morring surveys, we will use a towing ADCP for estimating the river flow in the rivers.

Results and Future Plan
We carried out mooring and towing ADCP observations in Unosumai River and Otsuchi River outflowing into Otsuchi Bay. From observations, we obtained the river discharge outflowing into Otsuchi Bay and the quality of river water.
