Results and Future Plan
DIN (dissolved inorganic nitrogen) concentration was rather stable from 2012 to 2015, with similar seasonal change being lower than 3 micro-M in summer and high from autumn to early spring. Phosphate and silicic acid concentrations were low in 2012 but increased thereafter. In 2015, phosphate was less than 0.1 micro-M from summer to autumn. Chlorophyll a concentration was very low in 2012, but increased thereafter and highest in 2014. Zooplankton abundance showed similar pattern as in Chlorophyll a concentration. Primary production at the innermost bay ranged from 34.8 to 740.6 mgC/m^2/d. Copepod production ranged from 0.13 to 4.8 mgC/m^3/d.
