The data telemetry of JKEO6 is as same as of JKEO5
and m-TRITON. Data from the JKEO6 mooring are
telemetered in near-real-time via Service Argos utilizing the NOAA
polar-orbiting satellites. The buoy data are processed on daily base at
JAMSTEC, where quality controls (identifying the values in the range of
critical values or not) are applied. In addition, an Emergency Argos
Positioning System transmits position of the mooring for 5 hours after 0000
UTC every day. The
JKEO6 mooring transmits hourly mean values. Near-real-time hourly data until
August 14, 2012, is made publicly available in the data page of this web
site. Complete
high temporal resolution data (every 10-minute) will be available in delayed
mode from the data page of this web site. Delayed
mode Oceanic Data will be provided also to the Japan Oceanographic Data
Center in Tokyo after recovery of the mooring scheduled in July 2013. Last updated on November 26, 2012 |
