IUGG Accompanying Persons Program

The Accompanying Persons Lounge is situated in the Lobby on the 1st floor of Sapporo Education & Culture Hall (Site C) and can be freely used between 9:00 and 18:00 each day to meet friends, relax, and arrange or plan trips around Sapporo.
Volunteers will be there at those times to provide information on the Accompanying Persons Program, and to advise and assist you on how to book places on the excursions we have organized. Please note that the assembly point for all our trips/events will be in the Accompanying Persons Lounge.
Within our programs we have highlighted some of the excursions: Welcome Tea Party with a short koto (Japanese musical instrument) performance, guided tour of Sapporo, Japanese Culture and Ainu Culture introductions, hot spring experience, Japanese cooking and tasting, one-day picnic with BBQ lunch, etc.
Why not have it all? (All programs are free of charge.)
