The main research and development subjects of our research department are the coastal regions. We put special emphasis on the "coastal marine ecosystem," "marine energy," and "scientific diving." We strive for organic cooperation centered on research on the ecosystem for comprehensive use and research of coastal regions. Currently, we are also working in cooperation with municipalities involved in the "Regional Cooperative Research and Development Project" for promoting regional developments in marine science technology.
