@The Center
has organized the Science Camps of 3 days and 2 nights
for senior high school students all over the country in
summer vacation every year since 1995. The objectives
of these camps were to make the marine science and technology
more familiar to them and provide an opportunity to obtain
an extensive and high-quality knowledge of science and

Comments:
Miss I (in the prefecture of Hiroshima):
I enjoyed my 3-day study. Especially in
the scuba diving course, I was very happy
and impressed by my first feeling of respiring
in water when I was swimming with an air bomb
on my back in a pool 3m deep.
Mr. M (in the prefecture of Okayama): In
the practical training course, I had unusual
experiences such as being in a high-pressure
environment, observing marine organisms by
using a ROV, and analyzing marine data by
using a personal computer. In addition, I
had new friends through the social meeting
with students coming from other prefectures.
