Diving Work Management Course


 This course is organized by the Center as a part of the safety and health education for diving works, and includes mainly the original lectures planned by the Center. The curriculum is prepared to provide an extensive information of all diving works to be done by on-the-job supervisors and divers. This course will be held once a year (around November). Lodging facilities will be available to participants.



 
 

Curriculum:  Lectures: the introduction to diving, physics, diving physiology and disorders, diving laws and regulations, diving methods, decompression techniques, harmful marine organisms, emergency resuscitation, diving equipment, diving accidents, diving projects, decompression theory, air decompression methods, short diving works, saturation diving technique, and high-altitude diving techniques.

Training in a pool: Scuba diving and surface supply diving experiences.
Others: Experiences under high pressures (equivalent to the depths of 30m and 50m).
