We took part in the Japan Geoscience Union Meeting 2008 [ May 25 - 30, 2008 ]

At the Japan Geoscience Union Meeting 2008, we set up an exhibition booth in conjunction with the Center for Advanced Marine Core Research, Kochi University and advertised the activities of the Kochi Core Center.
At the booth, dummy core samples and actual curatorial tools, which are used for core sampling, were displayed. University students and other participants of the meeting showed interest in these by picking them up and weighing them or observing their colors, etc. Also, We had researchers visiting our booth who disscussed about our activities or how to request core samples.
