Pre-Cruise Training for Expedition 319 & 322 was held at KCC

Pre-cruise training for some of the participants of the IODP Expedition 319 & 322 of the deep sea drilling vessel " Chikyu" was held at the Kochi Core Center for two days, April 27th and 28th in 2009.

23 researchers from various universities and other laboratories in Japan participated in the training and learned about data bases and core description techniques, and handling of several instruments required for onboard measurement of cores.
