      Geophysical data service :  Client application software   (GDSClient)

1. Introduction

   The GDSClient is the client software that collects geophysical data from the
   data center in the world.  It is based on the Web Services technologies.
   Especially the interfaces with the data centers are described with WSDL.


2. System requirements

   OS   :  Windows 2000 or XP
   Java :  Java Runtime Environment 1.4 or higher


3. Installation of the GDSClient

   - Extract the "GDSClient.zip", and "GDSClient" directory will appear.
      (Note: Do not extract "*.jar")
   - Move the "GDSClient" directory to wherever you like.
   - Installation is completed.


4. Installation of the Java Runtime Environment

   Install the Java Runtime Environment if it is not installed in your machine.

   - Go to "http://java.com/".
   - Download and install Java software that suits your environment.


5. Starting the GDSClient

   - Double click "GDSClient.bat"


6. Documentation

   Open "doc/help.html" by the browser.
