KML Generator

Outline

The KML generators are programs that covert various geophysical/geochemical data to KML files. You can use these programs to quickly display such data on Google Earth. The KML generators for seismic tomographic data, geochemcal data of rocks and geomagnetic field model data are available so far.

These KML genarators are provided as web applications on this site.

KML Generators

The KML generator for seismic tomographic data

You can generate KML files to display horizontal and vertical cross sections of wide range of seismic tomographic data.

The KML generator for geochemcal data of rocks

You can generate KML files to display geochemcal data of rocks. Their propreties are displayed as bars placed at where they were sampled.

The KML generator for geomagnetic field model data

You can generate KML files to display various geomagnetic field model data (total intensity(F), Northword component (X), Eastward component (Y), Vertical component (Z), horizontal component (H), Declination (D) and Inclination (I)). You can select the depth/height of the geomagnetic field to display.
