JAMSTEC, while managing the results of our R&D as intellectual property, uses a licensing system to promote further development and application of our results in a variety of fields. JAMSTEC promotes and supports wider R&D use of JAMSTEC technologies in many ways, including support for startups that make use of JAMSTEC intellectual property.
