JAMSTEC has many super computer systems including the Earth Simulator and offers the use of them for research activities both in and out of JAMSTEC. We respond to technical inquiries from the super computer users and provide technical assistance, including porting and optimization.

We engage in research investigation on advanced computation technologies for promoting the use of the super computers.

Recently, the use of HPC including super computers leads to enhancement of competitiveness in industrial field. We promote the use of the Earth Simulator in various fields including industrial field and develop computation technologies for promoting the use of it.
