What is the Site-specific Ground Motion Project?
The Site-specific Ground Motions Project aims to evaluate Site-specific Ground Motions of
large earthquakes using sophisticated seismic wave propagation simulations. Data from this
project is used for improving design and establishing implementation policies of important
constructions.
In this web page, the databases of crustal structure models of oceanic and
terrestrial areas are available. These databases can be used for large-scale parallel finite
element method code E-wave FEM to simulate the seismic wave propagations.
