Database for time-series stations K2 and S1
The Marine Biogeochemical Cycle Research Team has conducted research concerned with the interactions between climate variability and changes in marine ecosystem dynamics
and biogeochemical cycles. In the Western North Pacific, we established two time-series stations, one in the western subarctic gyre (station K2: 47°N, 160°E) and the other in the subtropical gyre (station S1: 30°N, 145°E). In 2010 we began using the R/V Mirai to conduct a time-series comparative study of stations K2 and S1.
