Winners of
12th“Draw Your Dreams of the Ocean on a Postcard”Contest

The Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC) hosts an annual drawing contest for elementary school children, entitled the “Draw Your Dreams of the Ocean on a Postcard.”

The contest this year was held from November 30, 2009 to January 31, 2010, inviting artworks by children in three categories: hand drawn art, computer graphic (CG) art, and “ideas.”

Among 26,709 entries, 70 outstanding artworks were chosen after a rigorous screening process. Top 15 winners and their works are shown in Appendix 1. All winning drawings will be posted on our web site from March 16.
