Public Open Day for JAMSTEC Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences

The Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences of JAMSTEC will host an annual open house on Saturday, November 26, as described below. The open house is designed to foster knowledge and interest in marine and earth sciences, and increase public understanding of research activities undertaken by JAMSTEC.

The open house features a variety of activities including science talks, science café and hands-on experiments, in which visitors will learn about the wonders of the oceans and the Earth.

1.Date and time	:	Saturday, November 26, 2010, 10:00~17:00 (Last admission :16:30)
2.Venue	:	Yokohama Institute for Earth Sciences (YES), JAMSTEC 3173-25, Showa-machi, Kanazawa-ku, Yokohama (Map) <Access> 15-min walk from JR Shin-Sugita station 20-min walk from Sugita station on Keihin-Kyuko Line 15-min walk form Shin-Sugita station on Kanazawa Seaside Line 5-min walk from the "Sugita" bus stop of Keihin-Kyuko Bus *Parking is NOT available. Please use the public transportation.
