Overview
A GPS wave buoy with an anemometer and a water-property monitoring buoy are moored off Nagasaki on the southern coast of Otsuhi Bay to observe surface wind and waves, and the water property (water temperature, salinity, and nitrate concentration) at the surface (3 m depth) and bottom (35 m depth) layers every one hour, respectively.
