- README for Automatic Weather Station (AWS) Dataset -

"ganYYMMDD.txt" contains 10-minute mean values (time stamp at the end of the average) of 
surface meteorological data as ASCII format. Original data are stored every 6 seconds. 
These data are produced from MAWS201 observation system manufactured by VAISALA. 
Details of these systems can be found at 
"http://www.vaisala.com/weather/products/weatherstations/maws201".


Parameters and their units contained are as follows;
  Date in UTC expressed as YYYY-MM-DD
  Time in UTC expressed as hh:mm:ss
  air pressure (hPa)
  air temperature (degC)
  dew point temperature (degC)
  relative humidity (%)
  wind direction (deg)
  wind speed (m/sec)
  precipitation (mm/hr)
  solar radiation (W/m2)

Missing values are expressed as "9999".
