------------------------------------------------------------------------ R/V Mirai (MR17-08) Lidar during YMC-Sumatra 2017 field campaign revised 31 Dec 2022 drafted 18 Feb 2019 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Summary This data set contains observations obtained by a lidar onboard the R/V Mirai. The lidar transmits wavelength of 1,064 mm, 532 mm, and 355 mm in 10 Hz, and detects elastic scattering of these wavelengths up to 21 km. The lidar divides 532 mm and 355 mm signals into parallel and perpendicular components to capture depolarization properties. It also collects water vapor and nitrogen Raman signals. 2. Spatial Type Vertical profile 3. Frequency Continuous 4. Temporal coverage begin datetime 2017-11-22 end datetime 2018-01-17 5.
