Results and Future Plan
We joined the bottom trawl survey conducted by Iwate Fisheries Technology Center using the Iwate-Maru in the Iwate offshore area on February 2nd, 22nd, 23rd, 2018, and got benthos. We got the following biological samples at depths of about 200 to 400 m, for example: Etmopterus lucifer, Gadus macrocephalus, Gadus chalcogrammus, Abyssicola macrochir, Laemonema longipes, Physiculus maximowiczi, Sebastolobus macrochir, Zestichthys tanakai, Malacocottus zonurus, Chlorophthalmus albatrossis, Synaphobranchus kaupii, Liponema brevicornis, Flatfish, Snailfishes, Lanternfish, Crabs, Crangon, Octopus, Squid, Sea Snails, Sea Cucumbers, Brittle Stars, etc.
