Gender Equality Initiatives

At Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology (JAMSTEC), we have formulated a general employer action plan based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children*1 *2 and the Act on the Promotion of Women's Active Engagement in Professional Life, enabling employees to balance work and parenting and creating a supportive work environment for them.
Through this plan, we promote various initiatives to build the environment where all JAMSTEC employees can realize their full potential.
