JAMSTEC experts participated in the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29)

Researchers from JAMSTEC, Dr. Yugo Kanaya, Dr. Prabir K. Patra and Dr. Michio Kawamiya of the Research Institute for Global Change (RIGC) participated as experts in the 29th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) held in Baku, Azerbaijan, November 11 to 24, 2024. Through presentations at international conferences and others, JAMSTEC contributes to the international policy-making process on climate change mitigation and adaptation from scientific perspectives.
