Sustainable "Water-human Environment"

Center of Innovation Science and Technology based Radical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program

We aim to leverage cutting-edge information technology to drive innovation in water-related systems for a sustainable society. As a cutting-edge technology, we have been developing a world-leading global water circulation model (ocean, atmosphere, and land, including the subsurface) to perform integrated simulations of the impact of artificial desalination and water reclamation systems on natural water cycles. This simulation technology and our findings contribute to smart city planning for better use of water in ways that benefit both nature and human society.
