Launch of New Program for Thinking About Marine Debris
Marine debris has become an increasingly serious issue worldwide. JAMSTEC research has revealed that marine debris has spread to the ocean depts. JAMSTEC has now begun offering a program that allows users to explore, experimentally, how marine debris spreads throughout the ocean as a whole, together with its impact on the marine environment if the spread of marine debris continues to increase. In addition to catered classroom use, this new program is now available online, usable from anywhere in the world.
