COMPETITION OVERVIEW

This roughly three-year international competition consists of an examination of technical documents submitted by each team concerning the system they will compete with (now completed), and then two rounds of ocean floor testing and exploration (Rounds 1 and 2), each with different objectives. The final judging of the winners is scheduled for December 2018. Team KUROSHIO is the only team representing Japan and has successfully advanced to Round 1.
